The Moon in the Water — printable bedtime picture book (ages 2-5)

When the sky goes dark over the little bay, the Moon looks into the water and sees himself, all wobbly and wide — ripple… ripple… still. One by one, Wren the whale, Tuck the turtle, Pip the seahorse, the jellyfish, Barnacle the crab and Olive the owl go quiet, and with every page the moon in the water settles a little more, until it is as round and whole as the Moon in the sky.
