Refunds and cancellations

Every product is a file you receive immediately. That shapes the policy, and it is written plainly here rather than hidden.

The policy in one paragraph

If a file is faulty, corrupt, will not open, or is not what the product page described, it is replaced or refunded in full. Tell us within 30 days of buying. Refunds are not given for a change of mind after the file has been delivered, because delivery is instant and cannot be undone.

Immediate access, and what you agree to

Digital products are delivered the moment payment completes. By completing checkout you are asking for that immediate access, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content in the EU and the UK.

This is a real legal consequence, which is why it is stated here in ordinary words rather than buried in a longer document.

When you get your money back

  • The file is corrupt, incomplete, or will not open in the software named on the product page.
  • The product is materially different from its description.
  • You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.
  • The download never arrived and we could not get it to you.

When you will not

  • You changed your mind after downloading.
  • You bought the wrong product by mistake - although see below, because this one is usually fixable.
  • You do not have the software the product page said you would need.
  • You want the file to do something it never claimed to do.

The part that matters more than the rules

If you bought the wrong thing, write anyway. Swapping you onto the right product costs nothing and is a better outcome for both of us than an argument or a chargeback. Email hello@one36ty.com from the address you paid with, say what you bought and what went wrong, and you will get a real answer within two business days.

Where the payment provider's own policy applies

Dodo Payments, Gumroad and Etsy act as merchant of record for sales made through them, and each runs its own buyer protection. Where their terms give you more than this page does, theirs apply - this policy never reduces a right you have with the company that took your payment.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank usually takes five to ten business days to show it.

Subscriptions

There are none. Everything here is bought once. Nothing on this site will ever charge you again on its own.
